A marten is threatening my garden aviary, putting my flock at risk. This is the reality of daily animal care for 200 pets.
The predator is back and has already targeted the neighbor’s chickens, leaving me on high alert. Protecting my birds requires constant vigilance, especially when the threat is this close to home. I am currently focused on reinforcing my predator protection measures to ensure everyone stays safe.
Between the maintenance and the constant worry, running a sanctuary is demanding work. Sometimes the weight of these responsibilities feels heavy, but the lives of these birds depend on me. I am also dedicating extra time to Pingo, who needs special attention right now. Join me for this daily vlog as I navigate the challenges of keeping my garden sanctuary running.
Subscribe to join the flock for more updates on my birds, and let me know in the comments how you manage your own garden setups.
