Heavy construction around my house left me with very limited workspace, but I still managed to build a DIY bird water feeder for my 40 budgies right here in my room.In this video I show you how to make bird water feeder setup for an aviary with simple materials, and then comes the real challenge — not the build, but getting the birds to use it. budgies or parakeets are famously suspicious of anything new, and sometimes it takes them days just to decide something is safe.I only have until the end of the week to get my flock used to this new water station and hopefully get a good shot of them drinking from it. And this time there is no millet bribe — they have to discover this bird feeder on their own. If water doesn’t pull 40 thirsty budgie birds straight to the station, I don’t know what will.
