My marten trap caught something unexpected, and I am dealing with a concerning cat eye injury and new chicks this week.
It has been a busy few days in the garden. Alongside monitoring the health of my animals, I am finally giving you a hometown tour to show you where I grew up. It is a mix of highs and lows, from the excitement of watching new hatching chicks to the stress of a potential medical issue with my cat, Tom.
We also had a big milestone for Mila, as she bravely faced getting her ears pierced. I am still processing the strange surprise waiting for me in the trap, but that is just life out here. Join me for another day in the garden to see how everything unfolds.
