I can own many budgies. I don't need a cage. my present budgies don't stay in their cage, they stay on a stand 24/7. So I don't have a problem to own many budgies.
Hi,
I have 4 budgies since about 7 months. They're adults now. I have never taken them out of the cage because I'm not sure if I'd be able to get them back in.
I like the idea of getting them out once in a while though. I live in India and we live in apartments. There is no outdoor area or a ln empty room where I can take them out and leave them be for a few hours.
Yet id like to try. However, I have no idea how would I get 4budgies back in the cage.
Any tips? Also they don't let me touch them or perch on my fingers.
Hi.
First of all, you are in the right place. Keep reading articles on this webpage.
Spend a lot of time with your birds, gradually getting closer to them, gaining their trust. You have to be patient, or you cause more harm to the birds and to your relationship with them.
If you want to let them out, close the door and window, make the room safe for them. That day, do not feed them (but give them water), only when you want them to go back to the cage. Then they will go home because they are hungry.
