Today was supposed to be just another day in the garden… until 20 kindergarten children arrived to visit my bird aviaries!
The problem? Just before they arrived, I was racing against the clock to clean every aviary, refill food and water, and make sure everything looked perfect for our special guests.
At the same time, something incredible was happening inside the incubator. One of my rare golden chicken eggs was finally hatching, and I had to quickly move the tiny chick into the brooder before the visitors arrived.
But that’s not all.
The new bunny living in the aviary seems to have made some unexpected feathered friends. Is it really possible for a rabbit to enjoy living alongside dozens of birds?
Will the children enjoy meeting the baby birds? Will the golden chick hatch safely? And has the bunny finally become part of the flock?
Let’s find out.
