Help for a lonely budgie
Thank you. Unfortunately I am not home often, so I cant spend enough time with him, thats why I got him a friend. He does not want to play with toys anymore, he just keeps searching for her in the cage 🙁 I am thinking of giving him to someone, but I dont know how he will react to such a change or how a new owner will take care of him.

I am so sorry for your loss 😔 You can help your lonely bird by spending a lot of time with, playing, speaking. Some find Budgie sounds helpful, some even disturbing for Budgies. Try toys, a lot of toys can keep him entertained. But in long term, you need to get him a friend for his best.

Well, that may be the reason babies are old enough? how old babies are? If they are older than 30+ days and they didn’t leave the nest box. She may attack them to make a room in the nest box. She may be exhausted from hard work raising babies. Provide a lot of food, vegetables, fruits. She needs energy.

That is normal, not every egg is fertile. You can candle eggs to see which one is fertile. Unfertile eggs remove from the nest. Also, be aware to never breed too young budgies, or too old Budgies. Provide a lot of vegetables, fruits, and liquid minerals during breeding. Good luck
