Sorry for your loss, Your Budgie probably died from stress. Once a budgie is subjected to uncertainties, it gets corticosterone, a hormone released when a bird is stressed. It’s easy for humans to get rid of tension. Sadly, for birds, it’s experienceable throughout its life if not solved on time. The feelings will continue building up and eventually become too much for the bird to handle. I made article already here

ok if anyone is looking to this thread in the future we found nasa(my blue bird that is really cute) under the couch pillow and his mate (my green bird named princess) is really sad rn we buried nasa and he is on his way to heaven

Hi, Boiled rice is a great source of protein. Rice should never be salted. Salt can cause a lot of damage to birds’ kidneys.

Hi, AC is alright if you are getting the right temperature in your room. Too cold in your room can get your Budgies sick. ❤ It is important that it is not blowing cold air right at them.
