It\’s been like this ever since I got him. Unfortunately near him is an air humidifier that my parents refuse to put away. There\’s no place to put his cage except for a chest of drawers beside the window. My parents constantly turn on the humidifier that makes cold air. I don\’t know if my parents will let me take him to the vet (bUT I think yes). I really don\’t know what to do. He seems healthy despite sitting on one perch for Hours and being puffed up most of the day. I tried heating his cage with an infrared lamp but felt like it\’s not helping. What should I do with my probably sick budgie? I\’m about to contact a vet anyway. Will he survive for a few more days? Is it too late?
You should take your Budgie to the vet. Sometimes budgies sitting puffed up does not mean serious like from this article An avian vet might be best to consult.
