Hi My name is Zard living in Virginia. We have a couple of budgies living in a cage on the house deck. This morning we found one got eaten in the cage, only head left. There are some blood and feathers everywhere. The gap of the cage is very small, only 1/2 inch wide. Do you know what may kill my budgie? Also the cage got moved by about 1~2 feet, so it should be something big.

Don’t keep your Budgie outside, all kinds of animals can catch Budgie even in their cage. Stress also can kill budgie if being attack by a cat or large crow. Also, if you don’t have a large space for your budgies, they can fight each other for their private space.
