First of all, I would like to thank you for answering my previous query.
I purchased a male and a female budgie 2 days ago. Starting yesterday evening, my female budgie named Litchi starting eating a lot. She stays in the box where the food is and gets out for 2-3 seconds on interval of 1 minute. My male budgie Mango was not able to eat and thus I put another bowl of food for him to eat. They are currently chirping a lot. As soon as I reach there, they stop chirping. About 30 minutes they were close to each other, but before that for 2 hours they were far from each other. Please tell what is happening and what to do.
If you just got your Budgie, give them about a week or two to get used to a new environment and new friends. That is normal, they are scared. Here are some tips how to now is your Budgie happy or sad, read here
