So about four days ago I got two budgies, a male and a female. The female keeps trying to open the cage door and she try’s to pick at the side of her cage to get out while the male flaps his wings around the cage. I really want to let them out but I have not hand trained them yet and I’m scared they will never go back in their cage after. But I am also scared that if I don’t let them out I will never be able to hand train them since they won’t trust me. Anyone got any tips?

You need to keep your Budgies in their cage for a week or even two so they can adjust to their new environment. Read more about taming Budgies, there is a lot of articles about that topic here
