Mm so hello I got an issue going in right now , my budgie pair laid eggs everything is good for breeding from setup and diet and the chick is very healthy but the female is mating with the male which means she want to lay more eggs and I don’t really want that to happen , and as a result of that she is attacking this little chick sometimes not always but I’m worried of this actions in the future and please I would appreciate a respond , thank you in advance .
Note : the chick is 17 days old .

It is best to separate your male budgie from the female. After the chick grows and starts to eat on its own, remove the nest box and any nesting material. That will stop your budgies from future breeding. Also, that will stop any aggression.
