Hi. I really appreciate what you’re doing to help us out. So I got my first budgie three days ago. He seems super scared and sits at the bottom of the cage pretty much all day. He also naps a lot. He doesn’t have any vegetables I give him. I put some millet spray in his cage and he didn’t even have that. He dogs away at the corners of the cage and tries to open his door. I haven’t let him out yet since I’m worried he’ll go crazy. How long should I wait till I let him out?

You should wait at least a week or two to get your budgie comfortable for his new home and environment. Good luck
