My budgies wont stop laying eggs and now I have to many, and nobody wants to keep them. I cant put my birds in a cage because my dad already made a bird room and I have to many and cages get expensive ( we dont have a whole lot of money 🙁 ) I cant get rid of the nest they made one in the wall and I cant train them cause they have a room to themselves and I try so hard to train them but its hard in my perspective. They all wont eat veggies either all they want are seeds and i am concerned for them. I just wish they had a better owner sometimes D: im not asking you to keep them because you cant keep my birds -.- but I just need to know what to do please tell me what to do I have no other options.
Hello, first, you have to remove the nest box or anything that associate with a nest box if you want Budgies to stop laying eggs. There is an article about excessive egg-laying. Everyday place some vegetables like lettuce near their food dishes they will try to nibble after a few days. They are curious birds 🙂 Good luck
